What may be useful to bring
- Your own mask and snorkel — vision is essential in snorkeling; with your own gear, you know it fits you perfectly. You'll have plenty of other chances to snorkel during your stay in French Polynesia.
- Sunscreen, hat, UV rash guard — even though the boat has two shade canopies, you'll be exposed to the sun while snorkeling. A UV rash guard reduces how much sunscreen you need, since some sunscreen chemicals can harm coral.
- Towels — your own, or ones from your hotel.
- Polarized sunglasses — to fully enjoy the vivid colors of the lagoon.
- Your own camera — photos are taken during the trip and given to you for free (except tour #07), but you may also want your own pictures or video.
- Anything else that would make you happy: food, drinks, a ukulele...
