About this tour
Observe humpback whales, from the boat (no snorkeling), in season, then snorkel with turtles, tropical reef fish and coral — the best of French Polynesia's marine life in one tour. This tour is fully private: you won't share the boat with anyone outside your own group.
Mask, snorkel, fins, pool noodles and a snorkeling vest are provided for the turtle snorkeling part of the trip. Photos of your trip are free and sent to you by email within 24 hours.
Want to extend the tour? That's possible — mention it in the form below, or ask the Captain directly during the tour. Extra charge: 3 000 XPF per person per 30 minutes (minimum charged 2 people). Example: for 2 people, Tour +30 minutes = 46 000 XPF cash / 393€ card.
Why not swim with the whales? Two serious reasons: real shark risk in open water, and it demands very strong swimming ability.
For these reasons, we don't offer whale swimming, and wouldn't recommend it with any operator this season. Learn more in our FAQ.
